Students from ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ have been thanked by the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Rogers Hayes, for their invaluable contribution to his Caribbean Charity Ball.

This is the third time the College has contributed to the annual Ball and this year saw Foundation learners create the favour boxes; Construction provide wooden surfboards which were transformed in to 10 show-stopping Caribbean-themed surfboards by Art & Design students; and Catering students create a spectacular dessert, emulated and served to over 150 guests on the night of the Ball.

The learners perfectly captured the spirit of the Caribbean; during his opening speech to an audience of fellow Mayors, Councillors and leading members of the Bolton community, he singled out the students for special thanks.Ìý

Urban Outreach, City of Sanctuary and NHS Bolton Hospital Charitable Trust received funds raised from the night.
