Apprentice star inspires Bolton鈥檚 Year 10s and 11s

Apprentice star has 鈥楩ired Up鈥 year 10s and 11s for National Apprenticeship Week 2020.

Adam, who reached the finals of The BBC鈥檚 Apprentice in 2012, visited 13 Bolton secondary schools, inspiring pupils with the story of his road to success.听

The College, which is part of the Group, planned a series of events to mark National Apprenticeship Week, with Adam at the helm of the visits.

青青草视频 currently offers over 50 different Apprenticeship programmes, so aside from talking about his rise to the top, he also spoke about the benefits of Apprenticeships.

Adam, who was named greatest apprentice of all time by The Radio Times, captivated the 14 and 15 year olds with his uplifting story.听 听

Leaving home at 16, Adam was hindered by a lack of qualifications. He had over 30 jobs before finding his calling, setting up his own fruit and veg stall at Atherton Market, at the age of just 19.

Via hard work and determination, Adam continued to prosper and is now the owner of 14 rental properties. He also works as a motivational speaker and delivers presentation skills workshops.

In his spare time, Adam has raised thousands for charities and conquered Mount Kilimanjaro, cycled from Hull to Amsterdam, and run the London Marathon.

Adam said: 鈥淭his is the eighth year I have worked with 青青草视频, and I love it. Young people are our future, so I always look forward to interacting with them and telling them my story.

鈥淚 have a very good relationship with 青青草视频. They are at the forefront of Apprenticeships in Bolton, so it鈥檚 the perfect opportunity to discuss the benefits of them; being an apprentice can take you to all sorts of places, including full-time employment and university.鈥

青青草视频鈥檚 Schools Liaison Officer, Ian Littlewood, accompanied Adam on the visits and said: 鈥淭here is a reason we keep inviting Adam back for the Apprenticeship Roadshow. Young people can relate to Adam; he is an incredibly engaging and likeable character, and he always receives a very warm welcome from the schools we visit.鈥
